Our name is Numro Anka — Numro for numerology, Anka (अंक) for number. We practice the Chaldean tradition: the older of the two great numerology systems, preserved by the mystics of ancient Babylon and still the standard across India for name analysis.
Our system
Letters are valued by vibration, not alphabet position. The scale runs 1–8 — the number 9 is held sacred and never assigned to a letter, because nine was understood to contain all the others. The name number is read alongside the birth date, which is why Chaldean numerology became the tradition of choice for business-name analysis across India.
The other system
Simpler and more common online: letters are numbered by position, A=1 through I=9, then repeating. It is a fine system for casual readings, but it flattens the vibrational distinctions that make Chaldean name analysis so precise — for example C, G, L and S all sounding alike and all carrying 3.
This is the table our engine uses — the reason C=3 while its neighbour D=4, and why the letter 9 never appears.

Most websites default to the Pythagorean system, where letters are valued by alphabet position. Numro Anka uses the older Chaldean values (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=8…). Both are legitimate traditions — but they will often give different numbers for the same name.
That is the tradition's claim, not a scientific finding. What we can say: for a century, Indian businesses from film studios to conglomerates have chosen names on Chaldean vibrations — typically aiming for the money numbers 6, 9 or the powerhouse 8.
